J. 3-ll-5t BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS County of Cape May, State of New Jersey RESOLUTION "WHEREAS, a large measure of unjust euid unsullied criticism has . publicly expressed respecting the attitude of the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Cape relative to the proposed re-con- ' struction of the Holly Beach bridge, and, "WHEREAS, The Board of Chosen unquestionably were well , within their legal rights in opening negotiations with Mr. Campbell, beas it did, that an emergency existed and that the safety of the bridge demanded immediate attention and that the best interests of the of Wildwood justified haste, "WTHEREAS, A certain resident of Wildwood, notably Mr. Theodore Mca highly respected citizen of that city, did so generously lend his advice and council to the Director of the Board of Chosen Freeholders and so efficiently aid the Board in general in unraveling the tangled fabric of the bridge difficulty and was so- instrumental in setting in motion the machinery that finally adjudged the Holly Beach bridge sqfe and unimpaired thereby saving the county large repair bills, therefore be it "RESOLVED, That the Board of Chosen Freeholders of Cape May county express to Mr. Theodore McKean its most cordial appreciation and hearty thanks for his efforts in behalf.
