An Ordinance authorizing the improvement of a certain unimproved Township Road, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 217, P- L. 1916, and providing for the financing of the cost thereofWHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the Tabernacle Road from Main Seashore Road Westward to Schellenger's Corner, Fiajiin" Creek, in the Township of Lower. County of Cape May, a distance of 2.1 miles, more or less, and WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $6,000.00, and WHEREAS, it is proposed to make application to the State _ Highway Commission for Stale Aid in the am ount of seventy-five per cent, of the " estimated cost of the improvement, In accordance with the provisions of Chanter 217, P- L. 1916, and WHEREAS, provision has heretofore been made by one or more budget appropriations in the amount of $1,500.00 for the Township's share of said improvement; BE IT ORDAINED: 1. That the Tabernacle Road from Main Seashore Road, Westward to Schellenger's Corner, Fishing Creek, in the Township of Lower, County of Cape May, be improved in accordance with the attached application2.
