EDUCATIONAL SUNDAY Sunday, October 8th, has been des- ■ ignated by Commissioner of Education Enright, as Educational Sunday. The purpose of this da" is to create favorable public sentiment for Education. Pastors of the various churches are urged to observe the day by impressing upon the people the great importance of education by urgin" that the standards of morality and patriotism in the schools br raised. Lincoln said: "Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment nothing can fali; without it nothin" can succe&d." The schools are asking for the support and cooperation of the churches and all intelligent people. Therefore, the d-«v known as Educational Sunday has been set aside for = the purpose of molding public sentiment in behalf of the public schools, y E- R. BRUNYATE, Count Superintendent.
