RESTAURANTS I AND CABARETS ENTERTAIN THOSE SEEKING DIVERSION! MAY FIND IT AT THE POPl-j LAK BRIGHT SPOTS FROM A COMPLETE REVUE K VAUDEVILLE TO A QUIET SHORE DINNER. One of the inseparable parts of seashore life is the interesting night diversions at the numerous restaurants and cabarets where one may find good music, entertainment, or a shore dinner that will long be remembered. One of the favorite places of last year, the Green Mill, on the beach front is closed this season, but with the opening of the season Hewj's famous establishment at Decatur and Peach avenue proved to be as popular as ever; McCann's at Jackson street resumed it's old time activity, and then with the opening of Sunny Hall Cafe, formerly conducted by the Arnolds, the circle locally was complete. Good music features all three or these bright spots, and of course dancing is the natural outcome. The younger sets must have their dances the* days and at Cape May they are well catered to. Sunny Hall opened last week under the capable management of Andre Henault, and the opening night found the spacious rooms packed with a happy crowd. Manager Henault will continue to maintain the high quality of the products of the cuisine for which Sunny Hall has long been noted. In Wildwood the most popular spot is the Biltmore Orange Grove where entertainment this season is on an elaborate scale. Owner and proprietor, David Ostreicher.^^ha^ been presenting to his patrons a revue of clever and talented girls formerly of the Norman die, Philadelphia; the MieGonigle sisters of 41 A Night In Paris" fame; Penn Pay and his orchestra, and an added weekly feature, which this week is Miss Billy Stout, a "Blues" singer and sprightly dancer. In spite of this program Mr. Ostreicher has maintained his policy of no cover charge. o ANNUAL BRIDGE PARTY AT ST. MARY'S HALL The annual bridge party by the ladies of the summer colony will be held for the benefit of the new parochial school* at St. Mary s Hall, in the rear of the Church of, Our Lady Star of the Sea. Tup- , day afternoon, August . 1G. The games begin at 2:30.

Few persons who witnessed the! late Rudolph Valentino's great screen success, "The Sun of The Sheik" were aware that one of the. chief actors was a former resident of Cape May, and was for a num • ber of years a familiar figure here. , Yet such is the fact revealed in a casual conversation with Captjainj A. i. Souder this week. The beautiful black thorobred Arabian charger, ridden by the film sheik thruout his greatest picture, was sold to Kim by his friend, Captain Souder, 'Who kept the animal here for a number of years for his daughter and his two sons to ride. The screen star shipped the horse across the continent to Hollywood and after Itig death it was sold for $1,200.00.
