School Show Next Week “Jane Mad”, the annual high school show for the benefit of the actiivty fond, will be presented In the Liberty Theatre unto the (erection of Mrs. Dorothy KReeves on April 14 and IB. The cast of characters follows: Penny Wood, Jerry Love; Chuck Harris, Donald _Wiison; Mrs. Wood, Elmer Tuttle, Dr. Wood, Edward j£loria Konowitch: NjdiUy Abanne Scott; G. MerVyn Roberts, ^ack Blume; Roger V?n Vleck; Jack Rose man; Mr. Hai les Weckman. Mr. Harris is severe times testy, but he is really lonely man who loves his son and aches to get in touch with him. Shirley and Ralph Wentworth are brother and sister who are friends of Penny and Milly Lou. They are an inseparable pair. Penny Wood, played by Jerry Love, shows the passing of a girl from childhood to womanhood. Her love affairs and her future ambitions complicate things in the course of the play. Chuck Harris, played by Donald Willson, is intensely interested in hi* glider and doesn’t think girls mean anything. It's only when Penny slaps him that he wakes up to the fact that girls are important in a young man’s life. Mrs. Wood, played by Eleanor Conway, is the modem type of mother who is young in spirit, becomingly dressed and full of a particular charm which has made her house a rendezvous for all her neighbors. Milly Lou, played by Jeanne Scott, js the litUe girl who trails behind the good-looking boys. She is entirely unconscious of being a pest and her remarks are made in wide-eyed innocence.
