Golden Rule Week:
“With America at war, fight-

USD Fund Campaign Getting Under Way New Jersey’s campaign to collect funds for the United Service Organizations is rapidly getting under way, state headouarters for the drive reported today. Governor Charles Edison is serving as honorary state chairman of the drive. Associated with Governor Edison as the active state campaign chairman is Colonel Franklin D’OUer, president of the Prudential Insurance Company. There are now 90 men and women, representing all.parts of New Jersey, on Colonel D’OUer’s state committee. New Jersey’s quota of the national fund is $1,672,600. The campaign will have the complete support of national radio broadcasting chains and hundreds of corporations sponsoring popular progriuns. Scores of nationally known authors have also volunteered their services, and their articles will appear in most of the popular weeklies and monthlies. Chairman D’Olier expressed himself yesterday as highly gratified with the USO campaign outlook. “Our success is assured,” he said, “by the cordial spirit of cooperation manifested in all parts of the state. We are devoted to the proposition that the USO follows the, flag.”
