They will receive occupational questionnaires, however, and will be required to keep the board informed of any change of address or occupation.

Mayor Warns OT New Licensing Law Provisions of a state law requiring licensing of all homes where children are boarded apart from their parents or guardians were called to the attention of all Cape May real estate brokers last week in a letter from Mayor T. Millet Hand. “Since from time to time you may have the occasion to rent or otherwise deal with property to be used as a boarding home for children, your attention is respectfully called to Chapter VIII of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code, a copy of which may be obtained by making application . to the City Clerk or to the State Department of Health at Trenton,’’ the Mayor said in a letter to all local brokers. “This code detines a boarding home for children as ‘any place where one or more children are regularly received for care, apart from their parent, close relative or natural guardian, whether it be for periods less than one day, or for longer periods, shall be defined as a boarding home for children, exclusive of those homes licensed under the supervision of the State Department of Institutions and Agencies or licensed or under the supervision of the State Department of Public Instruc-

tion.’

"Any home for such purpose shall not be maintained or conducted without a written license from the local board or department of health,/or other body exercising the powers of such board,” the Mayor pointed out. “Any person contemplating the maintenance of a home as so de fined should be advised that it b unlawful to do so without applying for and receiving a license,’' he added.
