★ Announcinj Our Hew Payment Plan *

Due to the restricted use of rubber and gasoline except for most essential needs we are establishing a number of new collecting agencies, in addition to our regular offices, where bills for gas and electric service may be paid. For the convenience of our customers these agencies are located throughout the territory, as listed below. Bills may be paid at any of these points. In line with this policy company collectors will no longer call on customers to collect unpaid accounts. Bills and collection notices will be mailed as heretofore. Bills are due and payable upon presentation and become delinquent ten days thereafter.

In the future if it becomes necessary to discontinue service because of non-payment, the man who calls to disconnect the service will not be authorised to accept payment. To permit him to do this would be making a collector of him, A service connection charge of $1.00 per meter will be made for the restoration of service. We know our customers will appreciate the importance of conserving man power and materials so that the essential work of maintaining equipment and facilities vital to efficient gas and electric service will not be impaired. This work alone requires many men, vehicles, and thousands of miles of travel each year.
