Hearing Friday On Liquor Law Allegations (Continued from Pa*s Onel Beach avenue, Cape May, charged with sale to three intoxicated Marines and a minor Marine. All three cases are scheduled to be heard tomorrow at the Camden County court house. It is expected that Commissioner Driscoll will hear the cases personally. Cedar avenue; Raymond Russo, t/a Golden Dragon Cafe, 4111 Park Boulevard. The facts in these cases, which did not involve uniformed men, were reported to the Wildwood Board of Commissioners, together with Commissioner Driscoll’s re commendation that they commence proceedings to suspend or revoke the licenses. All of the licensees whose cases have been referred to the municipality will be charged with the sale of alcoholic beverages *‘ minors.

Through a broad plan of selfregistration of students attending high schools and junior high reboots throughout the county, this office was able to furnish considerable assistance to local farmer* for harvesting their strawberry and string bean crops end thus relieved a condition that

appeared to be critical.

Harry W. Henning, manager of the local office, is encouraging local farmers to avail themselves of this service so that much needed farm products can be raised

Softball League Teams Are Active The '-Coast Artillery softball team piled up a 14-2 score over the Officers’ Club squad, the VJ-5 team won 18-5 over the Naval Air boys, and the Inshore Patrol won by a score of 4 -1 over VT-9 in softball league competition at Sea view Park during the week from July 6 through July 10. The league is under the auspices of the Cape May Recreation Commission, and games are played several times weekly at the athletic field. Present league standings follow:

Many Activities At Cape USO Club Routine activities are being held this week at the Cape May USO Club for service men stationed in this vicinity. A motion picture will highlight entertainment, when “Skylark”, featuring Claudette Colbert, Ray Millfmd and Brian Aheme. will be shown. • Saturday night will be game night, when a large number'of service men and club hostesses afe expected to participate in the evening's activities. I ' Sunday will be visiting day at the USO Club when service men I wih entertain their friends. Ves- ; per services will be held at 6:15 P- m- . I Monday evening games were played Rt the club by a large group, Tuesday was music night, and Wednesday evening's weekly dance drew a large crowd.
