Two Games Postponed In Softball Play Only two games were played to the Cape May softball league competition between July 27 and July 31, as a result of two postponements. In one game the Cape May team won over the Coast Artillerymen with a score of 9-5; and in the other the Coast Artillery team defeated the Inshore Patrol 4-3. Games between the Sectjon Base and VJ-5 and Naval Air and VT-9 were postponed. USO Club Hay Ride Very Successful Following a highly successful hay ride enjoyed by service men and USO Club hostesses Monday night, plans are under way for additional events of that type. MRS. ANNIE TWYMAN Mrs. Annie Twyman, colored, wife of John TWyman, of 165 Learning avenue. West Cape May, died Thursday, July 30th. Funeral services were held at the Hollingsead Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Chancy officiating. Interment was made in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Cold Spring. MRS. JENNIE THOMAS Mrs. Jennie Thomas, colored, 80 years of age, died in Cape May Court House on Sunday, August 2nd. Funeral services were held at the Hollingsead Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. J. I. Peaco officiating. Interment was made in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
