Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Davjd Dare, of Salem, have been spending some time in Cape May. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Bartling, of Oaklyn, who have spent the summer in Cape May, are entertaining their daughter for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Bartling will remain until the middle of

the month.

Mrs. Margaret Keenan entertained as her guests of the holiday weekend Miss Mary Shea, John McIntyre, Mrs. Joseph McGuire and her daughter Patricia, Mr. and Mrs. George Ripple and Mrs. Joseph Lauahan and her daughter, Miss Marie Lanahan, all of Philadelphia. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Tenehbaum and their son, Irving Tenenbaum, spent Thursday - in Philadelphia visiting the former’s mother, Mrs. Bertha Tenenbaum, who is a patient in the Jewish Hospital. Miss Madelyn Alexander, of Wilmington, Del., spent the Labor Day weekend in Cape May. Miss Alexander has enjoyed a number of weekends at this resort during the season. Mrs. Jay D. Cook and her son, Jay Cook., Jr., of Swarthmore, Pa., came to Cape May for the Labor Day weekend to join the Misses Sara and Betty Cook who have been visiting, their cousins, the Misses Sara and Jennie W.

Mrs. Charles D. Bums and her daughter and her granddaughter have returned to their home in Bridgeport, Pa. after spending the season in Cape May. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lippo and their ,daughter, of Philadelphia, have returned home after spending some time in Cape May. Dr. and Mrs. Frank R. Hughes have left for an extended visit to the west coast where they will visit their son and daughter-in-law, Captain and Mrs. Harold Hughes, in California. Ronald Quidort, of Philadelphia, was among the weekend visitors to this resort. Dr. and Mrs. Harry Kerr joyed the weekend here with Mr. and Mrs. Charles ICerr. The Kenfamily will return in a few days to their Philadelphia home for

the winter.
