Y., are receiving congratulations on the birth of a nine-pound baby boy, bom on Saturday, October 17. Mrs. Burke was formerly Miss Emily D. Mem, of West Cape May. Mrs. Clarence Smith is spending several days in Philadelphia with her daughter, Catherine. Miss Pauline Bennett, of Trenton State Teachers College, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Bennett. Mrs. C. C. Sayre spent several days last week at Easton, Md.

The S.T.R. Class meeting has been postponed until a later date. The Standard Bearers’ Class held a quilting party at the home of Mrs. Julia McPherson on Wednesday. Mrs. Allie Day spent Sunday her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Taylor. A number of people from here attended the Sunshine Class Hallowe’en party at the social hall in Erma on Tuesday evening.. John Williams, of New London, Conn., is spending some time here with his wife and family. The Happy Hearted Class members were guests on Friday eve; ning at the home of Miss Lillian' McPherson.
