teams in the Naval Base bowling league, retained their lead in the competition by. winning three games from the Supply Office team at the Cape Recreation Cen-

Jayvees Win Over Local Shoeboxers A snappy brand of football was displayed last Tuesday when a team of local boys from various high school classes played the high school Jayvee team. Known as the Shoeboxers, the pick-up team lost the contest which ended in a 25 to 7 score. Foitz scored for the “Boxers" on an off-tackle smash that carried for 32 yards. 1 Rea scored the extra point on a line plunge. The Jayvee scores were produced by White, Pilmell, Dunne and Mariani with Purnell also getting an extra point. Line-ups follow: *
