Farm Machine Repair Class Opens Monday ' COURT HOUSE — fh« Federal Security Agency, U. S. Offjce of Education, is sponsoring a course in Cape May County for "the training of fanners to repair their own tractors and farm machinerv. This course is being given under the supervision ol the Cape May County Vocational, School Board, of which County Superintendent of Schools D. i. Bicker, is director. The class dates are: Woodbine (Aba's ( December 14-26; Cape May (West End Garage) January 1-16; Cape May Court House 1 Powell s Garage) February 1-15. Further information will be published as to the exact dates and hours for

each class.

Any interested person, whether or not he has repair work to do, is invited to attend the classes and benefit by the instruction. There is no charge for the course —the only obligation is to do the repair work and pay for any ased parts. The federal government is bra ring all expense of instructors,

garage rent, etc.

Anyone wishing to enroll

any of these classes should contact either Mr. Ricker, Lee W. Courter, Cape May Court House, or R. E. Reeves,'Cape May,R.F.D.

The daises will have two ob-

jectives—first, to interest farmers in securing any necessary new parts and making repairs to farm machinery during the winter months so that it will be in the best possible condition to function efficiently in the important work of food production in the spring; and second, to teadi farraers, under the direction of skilled mechanics, to make their own re-

i so that they can make adnents to machinery as they necessary throughout the

working season.

Skilled mechanics, once available, are now entering the armed forces so rapidly that it is es- • aential for machine owners to be able to do their own repair work. Many parts needed for this work are available now, b-it it is doubt-

ful if they will be

year.

Christmas Eve, the Rev. William Bullock, pastor of the church, an-

nounced today.

An interesting program is being arranged, and a large number of Sunday School members are

expected to take part.
