PAGE EIGHT' Schoolboys Defeat Alumni Courtmen Stinging from an earlier setback at the hands of the Alumni team, the Cape May basketeers were out to “do or die” Friday and “they dood it". The Alumni squad was sent toppling under a 37-24 score, which kept the fans in an uproar. “Babe” Smith, an alumnus, was the big gun for the grads with 20 points to his credit on nine field goals and two out of three foul tries. Piacentine was the only other scorer for the grads. He collected four points. Cannone was in the limelight with his scoring offense, tossing for 15 points on six goals and three fouls. Cooper was second with 13 points with four basket!

The 1-afayette School team de feated the Freshmen by a close margin. Final scord was 23-22.
