Stylists Back, Pacers Spurt In Pin Match 'By Jess Rutherford Ration or no ration, the ebonite flew thick and fast at the old Cape Recreation Center as those good fellows got together for their Wednesday night tournament. Yes, sir, it was another collosal night. Grandpop Frymire and his little chicks were really hittin’ on four. Kiqgfish Earl was out for blood and opened up the first half with 212-169-200. In the second half he was still tough cracking out 164->167-.202. Grandpop was also on a hitting spree and waltzed off with 178-202-176. In the second half he was toeing the 176 mark. The little Steger lad blasted out 207-186-180 and in the second half he had a wee bit of trouble. So putting all these big league scores together. Lehman was the dynamite with 198-179-195. He also hit a 196 game in the last half, but skidded bit in the last two frames. The Moeller brunette was down again. His wife wasn’t on the sidelines. It makes a difference. The big ABC bowler, Robson, bad a very bad night. Between splits and misses he limped off with a 139 average. That doesn't
look like Roby.

You know he has been confined to his dugout with a severe case of La Grippe, and I know it wasn’t a nice thing to do, but the Pacers knocked the remainder of his mob cold for three straight. They came back, however, and evened things up by shellacking the Hughes regiment for three straight. For the Pacers, that U. S. Navy inspector, Uncle Frank, threw the whole place in a turmoil when he knocked off a magnificent game of 247. And after that new eight-pound baby boy nobody could stem Johnnie Utz. Yes, sir! Johnnie Doughboy found a rose in Ireland . . . Dartin' Jack lost his fountain pen and had a little trouble with the ink spot, and I must admit that Horsey himself had plenty of trouble. That big Little lad was still tough—way up in the gay nineties. Art Reeves slipped three nice games for the General, 181-462-162. And who dc you think was out again? Mickey Shields pickin’ up pointers for his Tidewater Bowling Team. From what I hear they expect to be in form by Easter, and here's how the old gang stands:

Man Rescued By Pilot Boat As Cruiser Sinks After two days adrift in a storm-tossed cabin cruiser, Hugh Emerson, 81, of 58 Wayne avenue, Trenton, was brought to Cape May Saturday aboard the pilot boat Delaware following an unsuccessful attempt to tow hi* disabled craft to port. Emerson’s cruiser, the Pals, carrying a Trenton registry, sank when a tow-line parted late Saturday afternoon as the Delaware was attempting to tow the 85-foot boat to safety. The only occupant of the cruis- •, Emerson suffered from exposure. He had left Forked River last week and arrived at Cape May on Thursday. After making repairs to his motor he left here Friday morning bound for Solomon’s Island in the Chesapeake Bay where he was going to work. Entering Delaware Bay from the Cape May canal, he went, about two miles off shore when his engine^atted and the small boat drifted helplessly until Saturday afternoon when it was sighted by the pilot boat en route from Lewes, Del. to this
city.
Taking water in the strong gale which began Friday night, the cruiser was awash below decks, cutting off Emerson's chances of repairing the motor and ruining his supply of food. Without heat or provisions and
