The Villas company is planning to purchase a new fire siren, and the defense council is contemplating purchasing their one for use as an air raid wa ing "igwal - The first aid station is nearly completed, it was reported. The fire reserves are planning to form a baseball team soon.

Motor Corps Active

During April

A total of 40 trips were made by 10 members of the Cape May Red Cross Motor Corps during April, and the members served a total of 101H hours in motor corps service, a report issued by Mrs. Steven J. Steger, corps lieutenant, disclosed this week. The month's activities consisted of eight trips to the Base dispensary with patients; two trips to Cape May Court House with medical patients; one trip to Mace's Hospital at 3 a.m. with a maternity case; one to Long's Maternity Home. Wildwood, with three patients; one to Fort Dix to collect garments for the Red Cross

Other trips included two to collect mending from the Field Director's office and take it to the Red Cross rooms; three to Court House for production; one to Cape May Point for production; one to Court House for the Surgical Dressings Chairman; one to deliver dressings and pick < more material from the Base lipensary; 21 tripe meeting the train for enlisted men; and 15 hours spent by members on the Second War Loan drive.

Two Plead Guilty To Theft Indictments COURT HOUSE—Two colored en. indicted Tuesday by the May grand jury, plead guilty to the indictments in court here yesterday. Calvin Graham, of Cape May, indicted on a charge of breaking, entering, larceny and receiving stolen goods, was sentenced to six months in the county jail by Judge French B. Loveland. Edgar Young, of the U. S. Navy, stationed at Rio Grande, plead guilty to a charge of larceny of an automobile. He was given a pended sentence and turned to Navy authorities for cyurt Grady Williams, colored, of Cape May, plead guilty in Special Sessions Court yesterday, to a charge of larceny of a watch. Shore Bor To Open Next Thursday Cape May’s newest night spot, the Shore Bar, at 315-17 Washington street, will have its formal opening on Thursday, May Robert Chance, proprietor of tnejiew establishment, announced The spacious bar is surrounded by an unusual group of wall murals executed by William Goodacre, of Del-Haven, a graduate of Cape May High School formerly a sign painter here. Shown on the walls are a large seashore scene, a racing scene, and panels showing realistic lobsters, oysters and clams.
