Commissioner Boswell will sit with Examiner Prichard in this joint cooperative panel proceeding. The application of Pennsylvan-ia-Reading Seashore Lines to the Interstate Commerce Commission was made in January, and the Utility Board asked the Interstate Commerce Commiasion for a joint public hearing by reason of the numerous protests from various organizations and individuals in this territory. The Stone Harbor banch is approximately four miles in length and extends from the main line of Pennsylvania-Reading at Cape Court House to the Thorofare at Stone Harbor. Protests have been received by __e Public Utility Commission from the Cape May Court House Chamber of Commerce, Harry W. ms, borough superintendent Avalon, J. N. Alexander, borough clerk of Stone Harbor, and H. S. Clark, secretary of the Stone Harbor Chamber of Cbmmerce. It is contended by the railroad company that the Stone Harbor Lumber Co., Inc., which is located at the end of the branch, is the only shipper presently being served.
