Staff Sergeant Edward Sand^_j>ran, of Aberdeen, Md., visited Mrs. Sar.dgran at their Washington street apartment over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kadel entertained Mrs. Kadel's nieces, Elaine and Helen Hawn, of Linwood, N. J-, for a few days this Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Stites, accompanied by the Rev. F. Paul Langhome, were in Philadelphia cn Tuesday visiting Gilbert Hughes, who is a patient Graduate Hospital. Mrs. John L. Younger and her daughter, Elizabeth, of 2020 Pine street, Philadelphia, are spending the summer months at their cottage, 1005 New Yofk avenue. Mr. and Mrs. William Peterson and their family, of Drexel Hill, have opened their cottage at this resort for the season. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bernett and their children, of Drexel Hill, are summering at this resort. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Konowitch entertained over the weekend and has as their guests over Saturday and Sunday their son-in-law and daughter, Lieutenant and Mrs. Boris F. Sokol, of Hempstead, L. I., at their Hughes street home. Mrs. Mary Hildwine and her N daughter, of 1207 Lafayette street, _ .are entertaining Mrs. Hfldwine's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, of Norristown, Pa., while their son is stationed at the Amarillo Air Field in Texas. Mr. and Mrs. George Hess, of Philadelphia, are spending this • week with the latter’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Goff, of Queen street. Mrs. John Sloat, of Mt. Vernon avenue, was a Philadelphia visitor during the week. Mr. and Mrs. H. (Sow and their family, of Pittsburgh, have returned to this resort and will occupy the Smith cottage on Broadway for the summer.
