Issue Calendar On Rationing Information CAMDEN—A ration calewlar containing important dates of expiration and validity of various types of ration coupons and ■tamps was issued today by the Camden office of the Office of Price Administration. Elmer Bertman, Camden district Information officer, suggested that housewives and motorists clip the calendar and keep it on file for ready reference to keep them up to date on rationing infomation. Sugar: Stamp 13 is now valid and will be good for five pounds through August 15. Stamps 15 and 16 in Ration Book One may be used to obtain X T for home canning. Each be good for five pounds through October 31. Coffee: Stamp Z1 is good for one pound and will remain valid through July 21. Stamp 22 is good Ijor one pound from July 22 through August 11. Blue Stamps in Ration Book Two, to be used for canned fruits, canned vegetables, fruit juices, soups, froren foods, catsup, etc. Stamps marked N, P, Q will remain valid through August 7. Red Stamps in Ration Book Two to be used for all meats, butter, margarine, lard, cheese, canned fish, fats and oils and canned milk. Stamps P and Q are now valid. Stamps R and S become valid on July 11 and 18 respectively. All ex ft ire July 31. Ration Book Three: Mailing out of the new books should be com- - pleted by July 21. Fuel Oil: Coupon Five is valid for ten gallons through September 30Stoves: Oil-fired and coal-fiired Stoves are subject to rationing. Gasoline: Number Five coupons are good for three gallons each but must last through July 21. “B” and “C” coupons, good for 2V4 gallons each, expire according to dates <m individual books. All T" gasoline rations have been reduced about 40 per cent by a recent order from the ODT, extending the valid period of all existing “T” rations from June SO to July 25. Tirea: Owners of passenger cars may now have tires recapped with Grade F camelback without obtaining certificates from their boards. All motorists whose gasoline ratiion cards are intended to permit them to drive more than 240 miles a month are eligible for Grade 1 tires. Holders- of Grade 2 tire certificates may obtain Grade 1 certificates by presenting them to a tire dealer. Certificates must be obtained from rationing boards , for the purchase of any type of car. Used passenger car and truck inner tubes have been removed from rationing restrictions. New inner tubes, however, are still rationed,

Erdman said that In addition to caring for 10,261 cases on the assistance rolls during May the Municipal Welfare offices throughout the state were called upon to handle more than 12,000 problems which a short time ago would have been considered outside the province of a relief office. These services uo not involve any financial commitments on the part of the municipalities of the state, Erdman said, but they demand a very large - percentage of the local welfare directors' time
