Lacal Motor Corps Continues Activity Cape May’s Red Cross Motor Corps hit a peak in activity during the month of June, a monthly report made public this week by Mro. Steven J. Steger, corps lieutenant, disclosed. During June, corps members made 22 trips to meet the train for enlisted men; five trips with patients to the base hospital; trips with canteen members to Admiral Hotel pool for the Cross swimming program; four trips to Dr. Hughes' office with Mtients; three trips with surgical dressings to the base hospital. One trip with clothes for the •mergency closet; six trips with patients to Dr. Brooks, Court House; one trip with surgical dressings to Court House; one trip to Atlantic Citv Hospital with patient; two tnps to the Mace Hospital, North Wildwood, with patients; two trips to Cape ‘May Court House for production one midnight trip to the Hospital.

MRS. MAUDE F. WILLIAMS M**- Maude Filer Williams, &L of Fow avenue, died in Hahnemann Hospital. Philadelphia, Sunday. after several weeks’ illness. Funeral services were held in Oaklyn, N. J., on Wednesday with interment in the Harleigh Cemetery. Camden. Mrs. Williams, a native of this resort, was the daughter of* Mr. and Mrs. John Filer, of York avenue, West Cape May, and is survived by her husband, Wolaeley Williams, and two sons by a former marriage, Edmund Stanton, of Norwood, and Private (1c) Leroy Stanton, of the U. S. Army, stationed at Long laland; three sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Margaret Scillitor, of Stapleton, Staten Island, Linwood Filer, of Wildwood, Mrs. Jennie Pettit, of Buffalo, N. Y., V/arren Filer, of Jersey City, Ernest Filer, formerly of Cape May, now of Philadelphia, and Mrrs. Augustus Schramm, of Broadway. Cape May. - ALFRED PARKER Word was received here thia week of the death of Alfred Parker, of Collingdale, Pa., a former resident of this resort, on Saturday, at his home, after a lingering illness.
