Both roads are part of the county highway system.

New Oaft AMs Fire Fighters, Scott Says Reporting the addition of a new piece of fire equipment to round out Cape May's fire fighting apparatus, Senator I. Grant Scott, commissioner of public safety, late .last week declared that the new fire chief* car, which was recently added to the dep«tment's rolling stock, is a valuable adddition. , ‘ Senator Scott pointed out that the chief’s car is equipped with fire extinguishers and will be used fighting small conflagrations to roid Ihc necessity of sending out ie or more pieces of larger apparatus. - “Grass fires, minor blares buildings or automobiles and such other small fires can be quickly and easily extinguished by this new piece of equipment, leaving the larger apparatus ready for larger emergencies at all times,” the Senator explained. “The addition of this newest piece of equipment is in line with thi department’s policy of providing the maximum fire protection at minimum cost,” Senator Scott continued.

Obituaries CHARLES R. WILLIS WEST CAPE MAY—Charles R. Willis, of West Cape May, died VYiday morning at his home, 702 Bmdway, after an illness of eight weeks. He was 87 years Funeral services were held st the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. William Bullock, pastor •f the church, officiating. Interment was in Cold Spring Cemetery. Mr. Willis is survived by wife,'Mrs. Blanche Newman Willis, and one brother. He had been a member of the Cape Island Baptist Church for SO years and of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church for the last "iC?i years Mr. Wfllis was a driver for the Standard Oil Company, and had been in retirement for the last 15 years.
