TO END SERMON SERIES The Rev. W. Norman Pittenger, priest-in-charge of the Episcopal parish in Cape May, will conclude his series of summer sermons on “The Christian Faith,” on Sunday morning at 10:30, when morning prayer will be said at St John’s Church. Sens Csuty Girts Gives Sebelarsbips NEW BRUNSKICK—Winner* of 202 scholarships awarded by New Jersey College for Women to students in sdl four classes, including seven Cape May County girls, have been named by Dekn Margaret T. Corwin. In addition to these grant', which will give financial aid to the cipients during the coming y the State of New Jersey recently awarded state scholarships to 106 members of the incoming freshman class, covering a year’s tuition at college. Besides the outright scholarship grants, New Jersey College for Women provides loans and self-help opportunities for students in financial need. Service in the college dining hall, which is staffed entirely with student waitresses, provides one of the most lucrative means of self-help at N. J. C. Dean Corwin announced that 61 seniors, 43 juniors, 41 sophomores and 67 incoming freshmen are recipients of the scholarships awarded by the college. Among them is Miss Norma Taylor, '47, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman S. Taylor, of Cold Spring. Other Cape May County girls who were awarded scholarships are Misses Eleanor White, ’46, Cape May Court House;Katherine Braid wood ’45 and Mrs. Robert Wegner, '44, both of North Wildwood; Sally Henry, ’46, of Ocean City; Elizabeth Harrison, '47, of Wildwood; and Betty Oxley, ’46, Woodbine.
