LITTLE IRENE AND THE ELITE PLAYERS AT UVILU IOIKT MTILIOl

EVERY AFTERNOON AXIS EVENING

Harrisburg Telegraph, June 10th said : The Elite Vaudeville and Musical Company, which has created such a favorable impression on those who have visited Paxtang Park this week, will close its engagement here to-morrow night. The large audiences to which the company has been playing attest io the quality of the performance, and it is unnecessary to add that it . is clean cut and well suited for the most fastidious. Little Irene Myers has hosts of admirers, and her clever acting wins rounds ol ‘applause. Mr. Leyburne’s comedy is free from expressions of vulgarity. He possesses a sweet singing voice, and his numerous specialties are always an appreciative feature. Fred Stuber, as a banjo player, is a wonder. Tommie West is away above par as a character comedian. Altogether the performance is one of the best that has appeared here for some time.

War 7/ews or ZlAe fyetP-SlorA- 7Jri6u. Tht agitation and alarm in the public mind at this time give an extraordinary value to the services of a paper like The Tribune. There is a general reaction among all intelligent classes against the exaggeration, extravagance, begus news, guesswork and typographical hysterics of thj sensational Papers. The Tribune is the only morning newspaper in New- York, not of this class, which not only enjoy s the comprehensive Associated Press service but has an elaborate system of special dispatches from its own representatives at every Camp, in every Army and with the Fleets. >• The paper which will suit you the best and give you the most is The Tribune, it does not magnify skirmishes into terrible battles; and it does not exaggerate things of which it has special and exclusive news out of all proportion to. their importance. Its scrupulous desire to give the exact truth and nothing else is welt known to the Army and Navy, h consequence, its correspondents have special facilities for learning the exact facts.
