It developed that an amicable agreement cannot be reached on the rebuilding of the- substructure of tbe dam over the Estelvllle Pond. Freeholder Bourgeois contend* that the county should pay for the reconstruction of the substructure, whlle*on the other hand the State road commissioner and County Solicitor Hlgbee are Inclined to believe he Is required to erect It as the sole benetldary. Opinion* on tbe matter have been asked from the attorney general, In whose hands the matter has been placed.
