He came to Ocean City February 18, 180, and laid out the streets here. Mr. Lake has been active In tbe tire department for years and for a long time lias been the official recorder of also been ideiitllted with the Ocean CUy Building and Loan Association for many years. ad Mr*. Lake were the parents 'children, three of whom are living—Corooer Mark Lake, Mrs. Aland Miss Bailie W. Lake, all of this city. The other car boy, Christopher. There are eight grandchildren and one great-grand-child. The latter Is the young daugbr of Arthur B. Chester aod wife. Mr. Lake was 74 years old In April, e was born In Bargafulown.
