Faculty and Pupils Parade and Enjoy Pictures at Strand Theater. After tbe most successful year In Its history, despite the war and other drawbacks, the Ocean CltyBtate Bummer Bchool ended Its sessions Baturday morning. Following the usual custom, tbe members of the faculty and the pupils. led by Dr. T. D. Bensor. director of the State's summer schools, and Prof. James M. Stevens, principal of Ocean City Slate Bummer Bchool, paraded tbe Boardwalk In a body Frt day night. They sang at the music pavilion and along tbe promenade et they went to the Park Theater, where they were the guests of the city, orraugemeuts having been made earlier in the day by Mayor Champion with Joseph M. Rowland, owner of the1 moving picture house. They saw a good show and appreciated U thoroughly. There were 21 counties represented | at the school, and the number of teachers and pupils in attendance was more than 762. exceeding that of any year of the eehool. Dr. Sensor said that he feels that, notwithstanding the drawbacks, greater and broader work was done than ever before. Several new courses were introduced.
