SOLDIERS' MEMORY ' ISHONORED Wreath Placed in Presbyterian Church- Gifts for Worthy Charities. i , : The Freebyterlau Sunday School waa crowded Sunday. Each Sunday marks a growth tn the work of the ( school. This Sunday school aeut more than fifty dollar* to tbe Syrian , relief work of the church at Clirlatma* aud also packed two large boxes of preaetile for tbe orphans at tbe Trenton Home. The glrla aud wowen of the church dressed thirty dolls aud then ' bought a great lot of gauies for the boya of tbls Institution. Other homes were made happy by tbe gifts of the members of tbe school and church. Mrs. Maun was remembered for her untiring efforts to ketp tbe church In flowers and other beautiful decoration. Miss Louisa T. < 'Orson waa preaeuled with a handsome bouquet of rusee aud carnations, and tbe janitor, W. Grant, was given a ten-dollar gold piece. Tbe entire school received candy, and a polled geranium | waa presented to the "shut-ins" by tbe Cbrlttlan Endeavor. A beautiful j wreath was placed in the pulpit by a ' member of tbe church as a memorial; to the soldier* who served lu the late j war. Tbe decorations of the church were beautirul. Hundreds of yards of holly were auspeuded from the celling of the church and Suuday school room, and there were great bunches of holly all around the church.
