Commodore Hexamer stated that, a few weeks ago many of the members had the pleasure of hearing two new compositions by Richard Gasparre. pianist, a member of the orchestra. These are entitled "Lillian" and "Dawn and Evening.- The lyric for "Lillian" waa arranged by Mlaa Merklee and that of the other by Prank D. Newberry, chairman of the bouse committee of the yacht dub. Mlaa Merklee Rang both numbers at the concert Sunday evening. and waa warmly applauded. The program presented by Director Daniel P. Shea and his men waa one of the beat of the Reason. The members of the orchestra are artists, and they have all made a pronounced hit with tha members of the yacht club and their families and friends Tbe orchestra played at the Sunday school celebration in tbe First Prcsbyterlaa Church Sunday afternoon.
