UTILITY BOARD PERMITS INCREASE IN QAS RATES

Mr. Ritchie stated thai the city and variant civic organizations uf Ocean Cily have agreed. to the gas company's pot itlou, and he had resolutions from these organization*, with the exception ' of the Chamber of Commerce. Russell J|. Nulty, secretary and treasurer of the Ocean City Title and Trust Company, and vice president of the Chamber of Commerce, said that the Chamber and also the Ocean City Real Estate Board are agreeable to the proposed increase. Solicitor Boswell said that the re sponsibillty for this request |* placed 1 on tbe Clly by tbe various civic organ* < I /at ions of the town. Mayor Champion said that Solicitor Boawell had covered the ground, so far as the city is concerned, and the fpeoker asked for early action by the hoard.
