George Put tun, the president; If. A. I^ewris, the vice president, and Chas. D. Hit*, the secretary, were elected as a committee to see the City Commissioners at an early datp for the purpose of ascertaining how the assessments were levied, the basis for division, the cost of contracts, etc. Thirty-five meml»ers of the organization were at the meeting. The association will ask the city to place speed limit signs on the newroad way on Central avenue from Thirty-second street, and also caution signs at Fifty-fifth street, where the road turns off down the county, red flags in the day time ami red lights at night.
