Mrs. Jasper Buck and daughter are spending a few days at B. F. Buck's cottage preparing it for the tenants. Mr*. John T. Wolfen.ten and daughter, of Philadelphia, are spending a few days at their Central avenue cottage. Mrs. Amos Pheffer, of Thlrtv- third street and Asbury avenue, who has been on the sick list for a few da ye. Is improving. The Rev. Wm. Povriek, of Norristown, is having an apartment house erected on his lot on Asbury avenue by Harry R. Hayes. Edward Wilson and family, of Philadelphia, have opened their Central avenue cottage for the summer. Mr. Wilson is on the Philadelphia Board of Oiarities. Thomas Pierson and family, of Fort Washington, Pa., have been spending a few days at thair newly purchased cottage on Asbury avenue. Ferdinand Painter and family, of Witsinoming, have arrived for the summer and are improving the cotUge they just purchased through Harry R. Hayes, realtor.

There is great activity in and ; around the Thirty-fourth street district. There is much building' and repair work being done and many properties are changing hands. Mrs. Reed and daughter, of Overbrook, have gone home, after spending a few days with Mrs. Heed's other daughter, Mrs. Amos Pheffer, of Thirty-third street and Asbury avenue. Anyone wanting to fish or crab can always get boats at the drawbridge from the bridgetender, Chas. Gaakill. He reports plenty of cribs and fish. Dr. Bushey, of Camden, has re-

turned home afte spending some time here. He expects to return with his family this week and occupy Ms apartmenU, 3324 Asbury avenue, for the summer. Dr. Fisher, of Philadelphia, spent the week-end at his Asbury avenue cottage. He is making some improvements to Ms property, which adds greatly to its appearance. Harry R. Hayes, realtor, ha* sold to H. Mitchell, of Unndale, the lot on the corner of TMrtleth street and Aabury avenue. Mr. Mitchell expects to build a bungalow. Mr. Have. sold a lot on Asbury ave. to Wm. MeKJUip, of Vineland, who intends to build. He also sold a lot to Bert Lewis next to the one the latter recently purchased. Mr. Hayes reports that many people are seeking loU and cotUges.
