' MANY SCARS Mistletoe Party Had Some Exciting Experiences Lewis Gandy tell* a story of a mistletoe hunt carried on in Week's Swamp, which from his description, must be a* had as the wire entagletnents in "No Man's Land." Gandy also U able to display scars received from the bonnie brier bushes of the 1 swamp. Roger Williams, one of the party, Gandy says, became stuck in the underbrush mitl had to )>e palled out head ant, much to the detriment of his face and hands and clothes. Wreathes hang from I tach window and draped from the ceiling are streamer* of red and green : crape paper. In one corner of the . room is the Christmas tree decorated by the girls themselves. The Christmas tree U an annual feature with the telephone girl* here and on Christmas morning clustered about the -bottom of the. tree were found many gifts. A majority of them are from telephone subscribers of the rity, whd have appreciated the service rendered by the girl* during the year.
