Holtzman, chief of the surveyNiepartmon; of the Hockenlmry System of hotel financing, has completed the preliminary survey of the city. As Mr. Stoll, Vice President of the Hockenbury System, emphasized before the Chamber of Commerce, under * whose jurisdiction the project is being carried on, the two points upon which they required absolutely reliable information are: firstly, whether there — . is a civic necessity for such an estab- . lishment; ami secondly, whether there is sufficient money available in the . constituency. > The result of the survey will not be 1 known for some weeks; consequently ' the matter rests for the present in the i hands of the Hockenbury experts. « Should the report, however, he satisfactory, as it is to be hoped, and the ' Chamber of Commerce, under advisement of the Hockenbury System, are 1 prepared to sponsor the proposition i further, the campaign for raising the necessary capital for the erection and 1 equipping of the hotel, will be staged about the month of July.
