Plans were laid to have the Association iiicorporateil- under the 'laws of the State of New Jersey.Another objective to which the Association, has pledged itself, is. the- erection of a fine Cohimunity ' 1 House, to lie centrally located; • i The value of such a place cannot : lie- overestimated. The Community House will serve to centralize, and ' focalize all public movements and ' effort. It will prove a social asset 1 of (inestimable value, anil very materially add to the recreational : facilities -of the section. i The. Association went on record ' advocating an extensive program of street improvements. The : l reels Fifty-Seventh, and Fifty- ' _ Eighth, from Anbury Avenue to West Avenue .and along West ' Avenue from Fifty-Seven to Fifty- ' Eighth' Streets are to lie put into I condition with hard gravel surface.
