aiA "iiflL NOTES (CouUnued from Page Three) ■ anted by some mean*, the hydroKen could be o*ed for commercial purpose.", as fuel, the same a* f manufactured gas, and the bxy- ■ (ten used to support the combust - By ion. The courcc of the water sup- ' ply would be limitless. The water r in Great Egg Harbor could be f used up first and when that was : ■ exhausteil, you could begin on the ocean. 1 Now get to work and dense 1 [ some plan by which the two gases
can be separated cheaply. Maybe > it can be done by centrifugal force B the same as cream from milk in a 1 I cream separator. If you can do 1 this, you will solve the coal situ- * I . ation. Some day in the near fu- ' ture this will be solved for the fuel d in water. *
A WORTHY PLAN TO ADOPT How would you like to be one of the 100 American boys who will be sent to Europe next September to study in the schools there for one year? This is the plan of Dr. I Drury, rector of St Paul's School I in Concord, N. H. 1 He plans to have 600 European ' boys come to the If. S. to study orf a year in American pre para- ' tery schools and to keep up the practice for ten years. Dr. Drury savs that the youth ' - of Unlay will be the leader of tomorrow. The object of the changing is to bring together the tal- ' en ted or favored youth of variouB countries during the formative
years of school life anil to encourage them to understand the points of view of other nations, by means of personal friendship ami knit together better relationship. NORTHFIELD DANCE WAS A HUGH SUCCESS The A. J. F. Club held one of the most enjoyable and delightful dances last Friday night, that has ever been given in the hiatory of the club. The affair was held in the Northfield Country Club. Although the evening was a stormy one, a good crowd turned out and everyone acknowledged that they ' bad a wonderful time. Robert Gordon won the lucky ' number dance, which entitled him to a prize of a two and a half dollar gohl piece. Above their expense of the rent- ' al of the hall, orchestra and prizes the club realized about $60. J A. J. F. CLUB DANCE HUMOR Among some of those who were present were Messrs Sidebottom, Leadbeater, Ironside, Boosttucker, Setright, Sheets and Misses iflgglesworth, Tarbottom, Apetaker, Wormwood, Muledriver, Doodleheck and Hambergerbone.

1 LOCAL LEAGUERC i WHIP CAPE MAY . SHUFFLE CHAMPS ■ FINAL SCORE IN A HOTLY CONTESTED BATTLE RINGS AT 393-316 The question was asked frequently during the week end what could be the cause of the inclement weather, the city has labored I under recently. Beginning with Thursday, blizzards and rain have been the ffrder — quite an unusual thing apparently for this period of the year and this section of the country. The most expert metcrologists ' consulted, but no reason : I could be assigned. Astrologists t could discover nothing unusual tak- i ing place among the stars. Yet i everybody shivered and shugged,
e and everybody looked wet and mis- t erable. t Then suddenly someone happens ed on the real cause. After repeated failures and defeats, it transpired that the Ocean City ' t Men's Progressive League had at ! B last triumphed over their old ri- j r vals from Cape May City, j The victory quite upset the eler ments of nature. The Clerk of the Weather was so intent watching.'1 the game that he allowed the ma- j i, chinery to become mixed and|. jumbled up in hopeless confusion, f so much so in fact, that it is a| wonder a few earthquakes and vol- 1 j canic eruptions did not take place. ! « Notwithstanding the victors are J carrying their honors very mod- i estly. They were persistent and * would n otsurrender until triumph • , came their way. The final score .1 rang with the Ocean City Shufflers q 47 in advance of the invaders. | r .
