COLORED YOUTH, 16, | CONFESSES THEFT OF A GOLD WATCH I: PRISONER SENT TO COUNTY JAIL — WATCH AND COME ARTICLES RECOVERED James Wilson, a colored youth aii teen years sixteen years of ape. hailing from Philailelphia, was charged before Police Justice Ware with disorderly conduct under the Boardwalk. Following his arrest, the defendant confessed to Constable ; Dagteiseh that he had robbed one of the local hotels taking a gold watch and three valuable rings away at booty. Chief of Police Johnson succeeded in recovering the watch and 1 two of the missing rings, from a i hiding place under a house where tite lad had concealed them. Wilson stated under trial that he bad given the remaining ring to another colored hoy. Police Justice Ware committed the self-accused youthful culprit, to Cape May County ail for a period of three months.
