A few lessons in a house of correction where they would be compelled to live in ennInemeiit, and work on prison faro without pay wonid have a salutary effect on their evil propensities. The Board of Freeholders of Camden oonnty at a recent meeting had before them the subject of the erection of a house of correction by the joint efforta of tho South Jersey counties, and a committee of three waa appointed to confer with the boards of Freeholders of Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem.
